Ukrainian Relief

As the military invasion in Ukraine escalates, millions of people are facing a serious humanitarian crisis and are in need of urgent assistance. The devastation has left the people of Ukraine without homes, power, water or food. Having to leave their homeland is devastating. Over 10 million people have been displaced by this conflict, more than four million of whom have fled Ukraine to nearby countries. An estimated 18 million — a third of the country’s population — will need humanitarian assistance.

Together, the film, entertainment and sports industry have the ability to raise funds and help support communities impacted by this devastating violence and the regions open to helping displaced people. 

At Flickie.com, we have set up a fundraising platform that allows you to donate money while watching the film DRINKWATER starring Eric McCormack.  50% of the $10 rental fee will be donated to the Red Cross and The Core Ukrainian Relief Funds to support vulnerable communities to obtain access to shelter, food, medical services, education, and psychosocial support. The remaining 50% goes to support independent film makers so they can continue to make projects.
